This page includes resources if you need help while following the guides to use Forseti.


Ask a question

You can get community support in several ways:

  • Join our Slack Channel and engage in discussions with other users and Forseti community.
  • Join our office hours via Hangouts that we hold every Tuesday from 9 AM - 9:30 AM PST.
  • Ask a question about Forseti and get community support by posting to discuss@forsetisecurity.org. Posts can receive responses from the Groups community, and from engineers on the Forseti team who monitor the tag and offer unofficial support.

File an issue or feature request

If you’re experiencing an issue, find out if there’s already a solution:

  1. Read the FAQs
  2. Search existing issues in GitHub
  3. Search discuss@forsetisecurity.org

If you still have an issue, file a new issue at forseti-security.

If you need help with a bug or error, include the following information in your message:

  • What happened?
  • What did you expect to happen?
  • How can we reproduce the problem?
  • Which interface are you using (Google Cloud Platform Console, gcloud command-line tool)?
  • Which Forseti module are you using?

If you have an idea for a Forseti feature that isn’t already on the forseti-security issue list, we’d like to hear from you! Please file a new feature request to the issue list so community members and Forseti Security engineers can review it.
